Australia is burning. This nation is being savaged by the most devastating bushfire season the country has ever seen.

So far, more than 6 million hectares of Australian land has been burned. At least 23 people have died and over 2000 homes lost.

NSW has declared a state of emergency and Victoria a state of disaster, and major fires are raging in South Australia, Kangaroo Island and Western Australia.

It’s been estimated that half a billion animals have been killed. This includes thousands of koalas and other species such as kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, cockatoos, and many thousands more injured and homeless.
